Quick note about Flickr privacy settings
Hello all,
Flickr allows you to set the privacy settings of images so that they are public (allowing everyone to see them) or private (meaning that only you or select people can see them).
I would like you to set your images taken for class to public. This insures that your classmates and I can see them as well as anyone else who comes across them. Art is generally for public consumption, thus I want your images to be seen by the public.
Here is the Flickr write up which goes into further detail about the various privacy settings.

Flickr group for class - LHSP Photo
Hello all,
I created a Flickr group titled LHSP Photo. This will allow you to readily find one another on Flickr. Please send a request to join the group. It is a pretty straightforward process. First, log into your Flickr account, then go to the group page and click the Join This Group button as illustrated below. It will likely state something about it being a closed group and that you have to send a request. Just follow the steps. Then, I will get your request in my Flickr mail and add you to the group.
I don't think you will have any problem figuring out the basics of Flickr as it is pretty intuitive. Still, you may find it helpful to go through the Flickr tour. You may also want to read How To Get the Most out of Flickr. There you will find links on how to perform many common tasks. There is a Flickr app for iOS and Android devices that supports direct upload from your device. Here, you will find information on setting up Flickr so that you can send it images directly from your phone.
FYI- Flickr is owned by Yahoo, so if you have a Yahoo account for any reason, you can just use that sign up for a Flickr account.
